Kedarnath

Kedarnath Temple is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites, located in the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini River in the state of Uttarakhand.Kedarnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas—holy shrines where Shiva is worshipped in the form of a cosmic light. It stands at an altitude of about 3,583 meters (11,755 ft), making it one of the highest temples in India.
